Matthew Ian Welch
Pop, Session Singing, and Ensemble Work

In addition to performing roles as characters in operas and musicals, Matthew has been regularly singing as both a soloist and chorister across Los Angeles for more than 10 years. More recently, he began arranging piano reductions for both classic and contemporary pieces, for live performances and ceremonies.
Matthew has received multiple awards for his singing. He has performed on PBS, in movie soundtracks, and in live concerts with over 50 ensembles in Southern California. He has performed at many of LA's top venues, including: Disney Hall, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Getty, Zipper Hall, and the Ambassador Auditorium. Matthew regularly performs for birthdays, weddings, as a section leader, and as cantor or ringer for religious and secular ceremonies.
